About Me

My name is Dan Jaffe. I'm a lawyer licensed to practice law in Washington State and Arizona, and a member in good standing with both Bar Associations. I was first licensed to practice law in 1998 after graduating from the University Of Arizona College of Law, and the University of Washington before that.

Between 1999 and 2009 I practiced as a DUI defense lawyer. During that entire period I owned my own private firm. From the very beginning my practice thrived using the power of the Internet. I have built two thriving practices from the ground up, first in Seattle, and then in Phoenix. Because of the Internet, I never went through the normal growing pains of a new practice. I never charged rock-bottom fees, and I never took appointed cases.

During my decade of practice I witnessed the internet change. In the early days, I was one of very few DUI defense attorneys to realize the power of the interent and figure out how to harness it.

Early on in my practice I had the good fortune to acquire (on the secondary market) the domain "duiattorney.com." For many years it served as a local, one-firm, private practice website. Then, in late 1998, I decided to develop it into the national presence that it has become today.

The site relaunched in early 2009 and grew so fast, in terms of traffic and business, that within months I had to make the critical decision of whether to practice law full time, or run duiattorney.com. I like to do everything that I do 100 percent, and am very hands-on.

After winding down my Arizona practice, trying my last few jury trials, and packing up my firm, I am happy to say that I have a job that I'm even more passionate about than practicing DUI and criminal defense.

I am now a full time webmaster, mentor and coach for other attorneys who are looking to determine what is truly useful and make the most out of their online marketing dollars and time.

I have nothing to sell other than listings on DUIAttorney.com. For that reason, I have become a trusted adviser to the lawyers who list on my site. I truly believe that the quality of the DUI defense bar can be raised by providing the truly excellent DUI lawyers out there with an efficient and competitive way to ethically educate and speak to potential clients. The more efficient their online presence is, the more resources they have to devote to doing what they do best… practicing law. Efficient marketing leads to more financial resources, which eliminates stress, causes better sleep at night, which in turn causes better performance in court during the day.

The mass-marketers can take over the airwaves and the phone-books, but the Internet gives the truly excellent lawyers who will not stoop to deceptive marketing tactics and gluttony a voice. My daily mission is to help great DUI lawyers realize and amplify their voices.
